MIDLAND, Texas July 8, 2026 HiVolt Energy is pleased to announce the addition of John Versnel, P.E., MBA to its team as Project Manager. A licensed Professional Engineer and energy industry leader with nearly a decade of professional experience, Versnel will lead microgrid power generation projects across their full lifecycle, from conception through commissioning.

In his role at HiVolt Energy, Versnel will work with key partners and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget execution across projects of varying scale. His responsibilities span project planning, engineering coordination, field oversight and stakeholder management.

Prior to joining HiVolt Energy, Versnel held senior engineering and project management roles across multiple segments of the power generation industry, managing a diverse portfolio that ranged from early-stage developments to large-scale capital investments. He brings direct field construction experience from some of North America's largest capital projects, as well as a consistent record of delivering complex, multi-scope construction programs safely, on time, and within budget.

Versnel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from Louisiana Tech University. His career spans the full range of engineering and project disciplines, from mechanical design and consulting to field supervision and executive project management.

Versnel’s addition reflects HiVolt Energy’s continued growth as demand for reliable, off-grid prime power accelerates across industrial, commercial, and digital infrastructure markets.
